Selina Angel

email: [email protected]

Selina's higher educational background in Urban and Regional Planning with specialization in Historic Preservation and Architecture has helped her wear many hats in the professional world and allowed her to give different perspectives on projects. She can switch her mindset between small scale architectural projects to large urban planning development schemes.

She has served on the board for many organizations, such as the American Planning Association (APA) Women in Planning Division (WPD), the University of Texas at San Antonio's (UTSA) Graduate School, and as the President of UTSA's Urban Planning Student Association (UPSA). Selina actively serves on the Board for the APA Texas Chapter Southwest Section as the Emerging Leader; in the APA's Sustainable Community Division as Email Communications Lead; and as a Managing Leader for Chicktime San Antonio Central.

Selina has worked in the public realm for institutions such as the City of Leon Valley, City of San Antonio's Office of Historic Preservation, and the University of Texas at San Antonio's Center for Cultural Sustainability. Additionally, Selina has exceptional professional management skills from working with small architectural firms and start-up companies.

Selina brings energy and creativity to every project she works on. With her Bachelor's degree in Architecture and specialization in Historic Preservation, she not only focuses on the existing evident elements of a place, but also finds ways to preserve the intangible aspects that keep continuity within a community.
