The Japanese Tea Garden was the product of Ray Lambert, who is responsible for many of Brackenridge Park's most well-known features. The Jingu family lived in the house here for many years, selling tea and light refreshments and supervising the gardens. Like many places in Brackenridge Park, the Japanese Tea Garden has a deep history that extends far beyond what's visible today, although there are many clues you can still see.
